But let’s just stick with Eliza, shall we ☺️
Can I tell you a secret? I used to love summer holidays as a kid. But as a parent, it’s disruptive – I mean, not only do I actually have to parent my children, but it totally knocks things such as exercise. Hugely frustrating, especially when I’ve just gotten into a routine.
Any exercise schedule I had was abandoned every school holiday. No matter my resolve to keep it up. I’d emerge in September feeling weaker and frazzled and like I’d taken a step back.
Until I finally found a solution. A way which enabled me to maintain my fitness, without sacrificing my sanity. In fact – getting that time in for me really helped me be a better mum. (Don’t get me wrong, it’s taken me several years to get to this stage!)
There were three things I needed to figure out before I could maintain fitness during the crazy times of summer holidays:
- MEQ – Minimum Exercise Quantity (the minimum amount of exercise needed to feel like fitness was maintained and core strength progressing)
- Ideal workout time for a busy lifestyle
- Accountability and a sprinkle of motivation

FAQs
I’m a new mum, and I’m just starting to get moving again. Will this still be right for me?
Yes, this is suitable from as soon as you’ve had your 6-week postnatal check. There will be advice and considerations for those just restarting exercise.
My little one is 8 years old. Will this be challenging enough for me?
Absolutely. There’s several levels of challenge for the workouts, so you’ll get a workout regardless of if you’re looking to carry your 1 year old baby more easily, or if you want to keep your fitness up for an obstacle course race!
I’m not great at doing workouts by myself – what if my technique isn’t right?
I really want you to nail your technique. During the workout video, there will be regular technique reminders and tips, and you can also get your technique looked at once you’ve signed up.
Can I wait and join later?
You have until 17th July to sign up. After that, the programme closes.
What if I’m going on holiday for a couple of weeks during this?
These workouts are perfect for holidays! They’re short and easy to do with minimal equipment.
I am not tech-savvy. Will this still work for me?
Yes – you’ll get full instructions for how to access the workouts which can be accessed from your phone, laptop or tablet. And there’s also printable workout sheets to make it even more convenient to do the workouts.
What equipment do I need?
It’s helpful to have an exercise mat and you’ll also need a resistance band. These are inexpensive, fold up small and are really light.
When will I get access?
You’ll get access from 17th July.
